Usernames & Arcane Shards | Vanity handles in the Shard Shop
How Shards unlock vanity usernames and how Royalty single-character handles work.
Use Arcane Shards in the Shard Shop to buy vanity usernames. Single-character handles are reserved for the first 36 players to reach Royalty and only return to the market if the owner drops below Royalty due to inactivity.
Usernames are part of your public identity on Gamwiz. Short handles cost more Shards because they are rarer, while longer names are more accessible.

Section 1
Buying a vanity username with Shards
Open /shard-shop and switch to the Usernames tab to see live pricing by length.
If you have enough Arcane Shards, confirm the purchase to update your handle instantly.
Shorter names cost more Shards; longer names are lower-cost or free.
Featured handles appear at fixed prices when available.
Section 2
Royalty single-character handles
The first 36 players to reach the Royalty tier automatically receive a single-character username from the limited pool.
Those handles stay locked to the owner while they hold Royalty.
If a Royalty player drops below the tier due to inactivity, the single-character handle is released back to the market.
Royalty handles are not sold through the Shard Shop while they are locked.
Section 3
Availability checks
The username checker blocks reserved and unavailable handles.
If a handle is free, you can claim it immediately as long as it meets the length rules.
