Open Your Settings Page

Click on your profile picture or username in the top right corner of the screen. A menu will appear. Click on 'Settings' or look for the gear icon. This takes you to your Settings page where all personalization options are located.

Control What Shows on Your Public Profile

In the Profile Settings section, you'll see two main areas: Profile Settings and Account Settings. The Profile Settings section lets you decide which information appears when others visit your public profile.

Customize Your Avatar - Open the Editor

Your avatar is the cartoon character that represents you on Gamwiz. To customize it, look for your current avatar picture on the Profile Settings page and click on it, or find a button that says 'Change Avatar' or 'Edit Avatar'. This opens the Avatar Editor window.

Customize Your Avatar - Choose Face, Hair, and Features

In the Avatar Editor, scroll through the customization sections on the right. Each section has a title like 'FACE', 'HEAD', 'FACIAL HAIR', 'SKIN TONE', 'CLOTHING COLOR', and 'ACCESSORIES'. Click on any section to expand it and see your options.

FACE section: Choose expressions like 'Angry with Fang', 'Awe', or 'Blank'
HEAD section: Select hair style like 'Afro', 'Bear', or 'Flat Top'
FACIAL HAIR section: Choose 'Full 3', 'Goatee 1', or 'Moustache 1' (only one can be active at a time)
SKIN TONE section: Pick from options like 'Pale', 'Medium', 'Dark', 'Darker', or 'Deep' - each has a color circle to show the shade
As you click options, watch the preview on the left update instantly

Customize Your Avatar - Choose Clothing and Accessories

Continue customizing by selecting clothing colors and accessories. These options are in separate sections below the face and hair options.

CLOTHING COLOR section: Choose colors like 'Green', 'Blue', or 'Amber' - each has a color circle you can click
ACCESSORIES section: Select items like 'Glasses 3', 'Sunglasses', or 'Eyepatch'

Save Your Avatar Changes

Once you're happy with your avatar, click the green 'Save' button at the bottom of the Avatar Editor window. This saves your new avatar and closes the editor. If you change your mind, click 'Cancel' instead.

Change Your Username

To change your username, go to the Account Settings section on the Settings page. You'll see your current username displayed (like '@peterjsad'). Below it, there's a button that says 'Visit Shard Shop →'. Click this button to go to the Shard Shop where you can purchase a new username.

Change Your Theme

In the Account Settings section, you'll see a 'Theme' option. This controls how the Gamwiz website looks - whether it's light, dark, or uses special colors. Click the 'Change Theme' button to see your options and switch between different themes.

Set Your Profile Visibility

Scroll down to the Privacy & Security section. Here you'll find 'Public Profile Visibility' which controls who can see your profile when they visit your profile page. Click the dropdown menu to choose: Private (nobody sees your profile), Friends (only approved friends see it), or Public (everyone can see it).

Control Individual Profile Fields

Below the profile visibility setting, you'll see 'Public Profile Fields' section. This lets you control each piece of information separately. You can make some things public while keeping others private.

Email: Shows 'Connected' in green if linked, 'Verified' in green if confirmed
Telegram: Shows 'Not Connected' in orange if not linked yet
Discord: Shows 'Not Connected' in orange if not linked yet
Connected accounts let you sign in or receive notifications through those services

Set Friend Privacy Options

In the Privacy & Security section, find 'Friend Privacy'. This controls what your friends can see and do. You'll see three options with green 'Enabled' buttons: 'Allow friend requests', 'Show online status to friends', and 'Share current activity with friends'.

'Allow friend requests' - When enabled, other players can send you friend requests
'Show online status to friends' - When enabled, friends can see when you're online and playing
'Share current activity with friends' - When enabled, friends can see what game you're currently playing

Save All Your Changes

After making all your personalization changes, make sure to save them. Look for 'Save' buttons in each section. In Profile Settings, click 'Save' at the bottom. In Avatar Editor, click the green 'Save' button. Most other settings save automatically when you change them.

Can I change my avatar more than once?

Yes, you can change your avatar as many times as you want. Just go back to Settings, click on your avatar, and customize it again. There's no limit to how often you can update it.

What happens if I set my profile to Private?

If you set your profile to Private, nobody will be able to visit your profile page or see any of your information, even if individual fields are set to Public. Private means complete privacy - only you can see your profile information.

Do I have to pay to change my username?
