Arcane Shards vs XP | How Points Work
XP drives rank. Shards power rewards. Both are earned from play and milestones.
XP is earned at 1 XP per $1 wagered plus mission milestones across onboarding, trust, streaks, social actions, parties, vault, cashback, and affiliate goals. Arcane Shards are a separate reward currency from play and missions, and spending them never lowers your rank. Rank thresholds are Wood (0), Bronze (10,000), Silver (50,000), Gold (150,000), Platinum (500,000), Diamond (2,500,000), and Royalty (25,000,000). Rank progression packs are one-time bundles granted the first time you reach a rank.
Arcane Shards fund the Shard Shop while XP tracks your long-term loyalty rank. Both accrue in real time and are always visible in your Rewards and Shard Shop views.

XP (Tier Progress)
XP determines your rank from Wood to Royalty. Spending Shards never reduces XP or your rank.
Rank progression packs
One-time bundles granted the first time you reach a rank. Packs are not re-granted if you drop and regain a tier.

Do Arcane Shards expire or decay?
No. Shards never expire or decay. Only XP can decay based on recent activity.
Can I convert Shards back to cash or use them for betting?
No. Shards are reward currency only—they cannot be converted to cash, withdrawn, or used for gameplay bets. They're exclusively for redeeming items in the Shard Shop (merch, usernames, treasure cases, Spins & Wins, and social items).
Does spending Shards reduce my loyalty tier or XP?
No. Spending Shards never reduces your XP or tier. Your loyalty tier is based on lifetime XP earned from play and missions, not your Shard balance. You can spend Shards freely without affecting your tier progress.
What happens if I'm inactive for more than 7 days?
Inactivity protection is based on your rolling active days over the last 30 days. Daily activity and streak missions help keep decay protection in place.
How much XP do I get from wagering?
All wagering earns 1 XP per $1. Shard rates can vary by product and promotions, so check the live Rewards panel for current rates.
How do tournament rewards work?
Tournaments award Shards and XP based on placement and event length. Open the tournament card to see the current prize pool and payout ladder.
Can I earn XP without wagering?
