Add an extra layer of security with 2FA to prevent unauthorized access, even if your password is compromised
Go to Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication → Enable. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator or Authy. Save your backup codes in a safe place. Done in 5 minutes.
2FA is the single most effective security measure you can take. Even if someone steals your password, they can't access your account without the 6-digit code from your phone. This guide walks you through setup and best practices.

Common Issues
🔧Code invalid
Possible Causes:
- •Phone time is out of sync
- •Code from a different site/account
- •Code expired (30-second window)
- •Old authenticator entry after re-enabling 2FA
Solutions:
- ✓Enable automatic time/date sync on your phone and try again
- ✓Use the 6-digit code from the Gamwiz entry only
- ✓Wait for the next 30-second code and enter immediately
- ✓Delete the old Gamwiz entry in your authenticator and rescan the QR code
🔧Lost phone
Possible Causes:
- •Device lost, stolen, or wiped
- •Changed phones without migrating the authenticator
- •Authenticator app uninstalled or reset
Solutions:
- ✓Sign in using one of your backup codes
- ✓After signing in, disable 2FA and re-enable it on your new device
- ✓If you have no backup codes, contact support and complete ID verification (24–48 hours)
🔧Lost backup codes too
Possible Causes:
- •Backup codes were never saved
- •All backup codes were already used
- •2FA was reset which invalidated previous codes
Solutions:
- ✓Contact support and complete ID verification to regain access
- ✓Once recovered, re-enable 2FA and generate new backup codes
- ✓Store codes in a password manager or print and keep offline; consider Authy multi-device backup
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I lose both my phone AND backup codes?
Contact support with ID verification (government ID, selfie, account details). Recovery can take 24-48 hours. This is why backup codes are critical.
Can I use the same authenticator app for multiple sites?
Yes! One app can store codes for unlimited sites (Gamwiz, email, social media, etc.). Each site has its own unique code.
Do I need to enter the code every single time I log in?
No. Check 'Trust this device' when logging in from your personal computer/phone. You'll only need the code when logging in from new devices or after 30 days.
